Mr. Muhammad Hashim Anhar has successfully initiated, for the first time in Pakistan, a private / direct complaint in order to protect and enforce his clients’ Intellectual Property Rights. A new legal technique used first by Dani & Dani’s advocate Mr. Hashim Anhar who was successful in attaining an arrest warrant directly from the Intellectual Property Tribunal rather than lodging an FIR (first information report) against the use of false and counterfeiting Trademarks by the accused.
Kudos to Mr. Muhammad Hashim Anhar for successfully representing the rights of a judicial servant in light of a wrongful dismissal. Mr. Anhar was successful in procuring a reinstatement order with all back benefits through an Appeal before the Hon'ble High Court of Sindh.
We are delighted to announce that Ms. Rushna Syeda Burney has received a favorable order for a first of its kind-creating a precedent case, leading to the relief of more than 400 people in Pakistan against unlawful custom duties levied upon international travelers on arrival, which was wrongfully imposed in the awakening of new laws/rules as a result of a merger between FBR, PTA and Pakistan Customs. A case like this had never been brought up before.
